I understand that the US Aircraft Carrier Harry S Truman is currently in Stokes Bay.
Does anyone know when it is due to leave?
I have heard reports that say it is leaving on either Sunday or Monday.
Does anyone have any idea what time?
Thanks

Looks like an agressor scheme, perhaps it’s a time expired bird.

Interesting shot of the camoflaged F18.

Unicorn,
NOt sure about why that particular scheme but the jet is basically a hulk that the flight deck and hangar teams use to practise moving around. There is also an E2 that they keep in the hangar.
All the best

Hi,
I have posted a few threads on this forum but never any photos; I have just returned from a working trip to the HST and thought you might appreciate some photos. Unfortuatley they are not very professional as I was working and didn’t get much time to take photos (very difficult to hide a Canon DSLR up your float coat and work at the same time!!). Hope you like them.

You thought right Si!. Pic of the C-2 dropping off the end of the deck particularly appealing.
Nice job.
