What is it about two seaters!?

Was just looking at the PAF F-16 pix that Steve Touchdown posted (on embargoed PAF F-16 thread) and was amazed at the beauty of the two seater “B”‘s flying in formation! They looked much better then the “A” single seat versions, same whenever I see a “D” OR “E” Hornet, maybe its something about having two guys looking out for each other…..
Certainly nowadays many air arms are happy with just two seaters (contrast this to the early 80’s when having a full two seater fleet was unthinkable) but nowadays the RMAF and Marines VMFA’s just have two seater Hornets and I think the new Israeli F-16I’s will be all two seaters (someone correct me If I am wrong!).

what do other forum members think!?
