New Site on Pakistan Air Force History

I saw this new site on PAF History.

It has been created by Air.Cmde.Kaiser Tufail who has written several articles on PAF combat history.

The interesting feature here is that, this site actually debunks and downgrades some of the official Pakistani claims in the past wars. Specifically:

1. PAF Claim of the F-104 Starfighter forcing down the Gnat in a ‘classic surrender’ – Now the version is quite different and mirrors the Indian version

1. Sq.Ldr.M.M.Alam’s claim of 11 kills now downgraded to 5, which is accepted by neutral authors.

3. In Kargil, 1999, the site correctly attributes the Loss of F.O.Nachiketa’s MiG-27 to Engine flameout and not a shoot down.

4. Also in Kargil 1999, S/L Ahuja who piloted a MiG-21 is given as being killed in a shoot out which is what India claimed. Previously Pakistani army claimed he fell to his death as his parachute didn’t open

All in all, this is a good site and some of the narratives are really breathtaking.
