Today, a pilot stole a motoglider (looked like a Grob), and wanted to fly it directly into the building of a bank (I think the Central European Bank) in Frankfurt. Apparently, F-4s were scrambled to avoid that. They apparently had no order to shoot it down.
The pilot of the small plane said hee vas doing it because he was in love with the female Astronaut who was killed in the accident of Challenger.
At the end, he didn’t crash the plane.
Note for F-4 addicts out there: the German Phantom engines aren’t smokeless.
