Need help regarding failed Chinese fighter projects !!

Can anyone correct this list – or even add some more info – of failed Chinese fighter and fighter-bomber projects … how many still-born projects have there been :

Df-104 = designed by Shenyang Aircraft Factory as a light fighter from 1958

Df-107 = an enlarged version of the -104

Df-113 = further development of the Df-107; abandoned because of developmental difficulties, and the availability of the MiG-21

J-9 = Started development by SAC and 601 Institute but was transferred At the beginning of the 1970s to the newly established 611 Institute and CAC. Delta-canard-design with two lateral intakes (looked like a Mig-23 with delta-canard), was later discontinued in 1980.

J-10 = co-developed by SAC and 601 Institute between late 60s and early 70s, J-10 was China’s first attempt to develop a fighter with variable-geometry wing design

J-11 = proposed by SAC after the 1967 Middle East War as a light fighter

J-12 = proposed by Nanchang after the 1967 Middle East War as a ultra-light fighter !!! Flown in 6 prototypes. Development ended after 1978.

J-13 = Started development by SAC and 601 Institute at the end of 1970s/ beginning 1980S as another attempt to replace the J-6

… was there ever a J-14, J-15 … and so on … I’ve heard about plans to develop a VTOL-fighter ?!

Q-6 = designed by Nanchang Aircraft Corporation in 70s as an attack aircraft, looks like MiG-23 with a ventral airintake !

… was there ever a Q-4, Q-7, Q-8 … and so on ???

“ This original “J-10” is a failed paper project. During the seventies, it was rumoured that China would develop a swing wing fighter copied or derived from the MiG-23, in the inspiration of the SU-24 or F-111. (PLAAF did want a side by side seater by the way; but XAC could not fill that request with the JH-7.)”

… so was this PLAAF-wanted side-by-side seater an attack version of the J-10 or once again another design ??? What designation was planed for it: JH-6, JH-8 ????

Thanks in advance, Deino 🙂
