S300F Question

Looking for SOC and Jonesy to revive this topic.

I have been doing my own research on this subject as I am interested in the russian ‘revolver’launcher.

During the course of research, I have found that data avaliable for the Azov trials ship has some discrepancies which I am unable to determine the cause.

The Azov, the last vessel of the Kara class was modified as a trials ship for the SA-N-6.

The existing B303A revolver launchers found on the Slava and Kirov class ships carries 8 rounds per drum.
Slava : 8 x 8 = 64 missiles
Kirov : 12 x 8 = 96 missiles

However, this calculation does not seem to apply for the Azov. I have at the begining suspected that the Azov, being a trials unit, had carried a early type of launcher. Can anyone confirm this?

The Azov was quoted to have 24 missiles. There is a total of 6 firing ports at the stern. This would have indicated that the launcher was a 4 missile type. However this piece of information seems to contradict this.

As the model manufacturer is Russian, it seems unlikely that their information is wrong.
I have also other information indicating that the lanucher appears to be a 4 round version.
