Eearly J-10 test model … from Xinhui (Thanks :-) )

Hmmm … ?!? Very interesting photo …. but I’m not sure, the picture has some certain design elements (engine intake, cockpit-front section and the canards) from the Russian Mikoyan 1.42 MFI-demonstrator !!!

Could that mean that the Chinese-Russian cooperation – here between Chengdu and Mikoyan – is much wider than I thought (and not only Shenyang and Sukhoj) ??? Some time ago I already heard that Mikoyan gave Chengdu help to design the J-10 (like with the FC-1) … or is this just a MFI-wind-tunnel-model … ???
