i have just read the latest AFM mag, and there is an interesting part in the asia pacific section.
there is a breif that shenyang is mogifying the locally produced su27s with advanced chinese multi-mode radars and avionics, which will allow the useage of the SD10 and other chinese and russian PGMs.
has anyone else read this? i dont have a scanner, so if someone can scan in the original article, then that’ll be great. thanks in advance.
what do u think of this crobato? if this is ture, then the 4.5 gen twin engine chinese strike fighter thoery pretty much goes out the window. too bad, cos after our little discussion, i was really thinking that would be a much more practical rought for china to take, as opposed to going straight to a 5th gen xxj.
