The Sukhoi Bereau has stated that the new Su-35UB is the most advanced Flanker variant that combines all the good qualities of the other Flankers. As KNAAPO stated (page 51, Flankers by Yefim Gordon), it was the first time the engineers of KNAAPO used large scale use of computer aided design when designing this aircraft and manufacturing the drawings.
The Su-35 uses the AL-31FP engines rated at 27,557 lb thrust and featuring pitch and yaw thrust vectoring. It has the canards of the Su-30MKI, as well as the squared off, fuel containing, fins of the Su-30MKK/35/37. The Radar uses an N-011M radar and has 12 hardpoints with inflight refuelling capability.
As you can see in the following attached picture, it uses the new developed color MFDs from Ramenskoye, which are supposedly more superior to the Sextant ones used in the Su-37 (also note, they took out the 4 Sextant MFDs in the Su-37 and replaced them with 3 Ramenskoye ones), and the ones in the Indian MKI.
However the HUD looks like the typical and somewhat obsolete, especially compared with the Israeli one used in the MKI..
