The PLAAF- How Good or How Bad!!

There seems to be very little info out there about the PLAAF at least for english readers. Does anyone have any links? How good do you think the PLAAF is or getting to be. Most seem to agree that most of its aircraft are junk, pilot trainning seems to be bad. Even their new Sukhoi’s seem to be crashing faster than the Indian Migs if one wants to be uncharitable.Anyone here an expert on the PLAAF?
