Raytheon to supply 8 maritime surveillance radars to EADS for undisclosed sum

MCKINNEY, TX – Raytheon Co said it has won an order to supply eight
SeaVue maritime surveillance radars, spares and logistical support to European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co and CASA for an undisclosed sum.
A follow-on order for 12 additional radars is expected in 2003.
The SeaVue radars will be delivered to EADS/CASA for installation on the Mexican Navy’s C-212 aircraft, it said.
The SeaVue family of radars is designed to detect small maritime targets and provide sea search mode performance.
