Russian Exports

How much can many western media defence organisations make of Russian exporting $4bn of conventional arms??. As with many deals in the past involving Russian exports surely there’s a grey “area” when it comes to their exports. Secret deals in arming Iraq, and Yuoslavia with S300 missiles in the past and secret sales of Mig-29s to Eritra and Syria in the past.

here are some deals which have been signed or are pending for this year and we are still in August.

· Sovremanny frigates to China
· Su-3omks to China
· Mil mi-17 to Angola, Colombia, Pakistan
· Mi-AT to Algeria
· Admiral Gorshkov aircraft carrier armed with Mig-29k
(confirmed or otherwise)and leasing of Tupolev maritime bombers.
