[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-08-02 AT 02:08 PM (GMT)]Much can be said about this wonderfull aircraft-its performance,history,combat records and others.F5 is the best selling fighters of the free world(before the F16 days)and almost every operators -gave the aircrafts a thumbs up.
In the SEA region Thailand is among the first operator with the F5A/B before countries like Philipines bought the same example.Malaysia become the first to introduced the F5E in this region in 1975 when we bought 14 F5E and 2 F5B.RMAF used the Tiger in various sorties but air defence became the F5E main task.In 1981 RMAF received extra 3 F5E(with shark nose)+ 4 F5F to replaced the F5B.RMAF remaining F5B were given to RTAF as a goodwill gesture.RSAF received the last of the production machines-and all of their machines have been converted to F5S/T standard.
