Eyesight issue

does anyone know if the RAF accepts pilots who wear glasses/contacts under any circumstances?

for example the person has all the qualifacations,skills required but wears glasses.

or the person accepts that they cannot fly fast jet aircraft but would happily fly the larger, multi-engine aircraft.

its just that i have noticed for a while now that there is quite a number of RAF pilots (especially hercules flyers) who are wearing glasses, is there some way that they have achieved this?
