[updated:LAST EDITED ON 17-07-02 AT 07:29 AM (GMT)]Rare advertising pic of one of the PRC’s indigenous radar fire control radars. Regarded as a successful project, the JL-10A represents the second (or third) generation of multirole, multimode pulse doppler fire control radars, roughly equivalent to the Phazotron Zhem Chug/Zhuk M, ELTA/M 2032, and early versions of the APG-66/68. It probably suspected to have some Russian and Israeli design inputs (from Phazotron and/or IAI/Elta) but is mainly indigenous from the LETRI institute. It can probably support a number of Russian and Chinese AAMs and AGMs. It’s been identified as the radar system for the revamped JH-7A fighter bomber, and a leading candidate as the radar system for the J-10.
I got this pic from DS Dynasty forums.
