Apart from operating 24 SU27SK + 82 SU20/22 aircrafts -not much can be said or have been said about Vietnam AF.VAF do operate a large no of Soviet type a/c mainly Mig 21/Su 20 which before the introduction of the Flanker-used to be their main combat assets.Eventhough Vietnam do not have a large naval force -still their air arm could spell disaster to most small time aggressors.My questions is –
Anybody got the latest ORBAT of VAF?

Why the rest of the world do not perceived Vietnam as a major force in SEA?
