Common Cockpit's for USN helo'

New just in from the trusty desk of Jane’s has stated that the USN are about to implement a CCIP program for their helicopters.

The Common Cockpit Implementation Program which is comeing on well with all models of F-16 in the USAF, has inspired the USN to take it one step further and apply it to all models of all types of helicopters in their service.

“This will reduce the training bill for each pilot by billions a year” quoted one senator!

I don’t know about you guys, but I think this is both good and bad. I can see the advantages in such a program, but every machine is different, you can’t just jump in a SH-60 and then go fly a CH-46, the charateristics ar very different. I smell trouble already!
