North Korean MBT

The NK MBT is probably NOT an indigenous product. I think it is most likely either to be an import from china (perhaps in kit form – flat pack armour anyone?) or they may have managed to acquire one that fell off the back of a lorry. The US are reputed to have bought several T80’s when the Russians left East Germany in the early 90’s.

Even if the tank is a genuine local product I seriously doubt if it will possess composite or reactive armour nor a modern fire control system.
