This question has plagued me for a long time. What is the wiring shape in a circle in RAF Harriers’ and Hawk 100s’canopies? Recently, after carefully analysing pictures of RAF Harriers, I thought that it could be an explosive charge to blow away the canopy to allow the pilot to eject. This is because the wiring is directly above th pilot. Can anyone answer my question?
