What future for the Cuban Air Force???

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, I don’t think this little island has purchased any weapons from anyone of any significance.
The Cuban Navy…a couple of Pauk patrol boats, some Romeo SSKs, three Koni Class frigates and a small number of Osa II’s is being destroyed or left to rot. The Cuban Army is out classed by its main rival in the area (the US).
Although from recent pictures posted in Air International (I think it was) it would seem the Cuban have maintained their aircraft well, but can they keep this up???
What are the current flying hours for the Cuban pilots???
What are the remaining service lives of the aircraft???
Does Cuba have a future as a major military power in the region???
