RSAF still the most potent airpower in the SEA region.Fully equipped with one of the most advanced weapons systems in the world ,it has a difficult tasks to defend the Lion City from any external aggressions.The ‘deadly shrimps’concept employed by the RSAF is optimised for pre -emptive stike deep into enemy area .In order to do that RSAF has in inventory a significant numbers of F16D BLOCK 52 specially designed and modified for SEAD .It F5 fleet could be considered as the most advanced in the world-F5S/T ,same can be said about their A4SU Super Skyhawk(going to be replace anyway).Recently the US released 100 units of AIM 120 AMRAAM to the RSAF (some of it stored in the US).RSAF continued to excell in modernising it’s fleet by receiving AH 64D and most likely JSF in the near future.Images:Lt.Col Mike Yeo (RSAF).
