The US Department of Defense (DoD) has approved the possible transfer
of
AIM-120C Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAMs) to Brazil,
the
first time the Pentagon has approved such sales to Latin America. In a
19
April announcement, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said
it
would approve the sale of 48 AMRAAMs and 12 F-16C/D Block 50 aircraft
under
a possible $909 Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contract.

Maybe I was wrong with what I said about the F-16 in the Polish post, but I really think this is a clutch at straws just to save the mighty US war industry, I mean who next? Africa, yeah right!
Leave no-one behind!
