In the current issue of AFM, the main news page states that the UK is ordering 232 eurofighters with an option for 60 more! This is the first I have heard of any such option, could someone please explain, how HMG expects to fund 60 more typoons, but can’t find enough money to fit them all out with Cannons?
or is this a back-up plan for the new carriers, in case the JSF/F-35 was to fail?
any opinons welcome.
