NEW Cyprus Update – Mi-35 Hinds

While in Cyprus I saw the first TV coverage of the new Hinds and Hips at Paphos. The few aircraft shown on TV appeared to be in ARCTIC / TUNDRA white – green camouflage (Russian?) and did not have Cypriot markings or numbers yet.

Non of the armaments were shown on TV and those personnel who were shown on TV had their faces censored in black.

Clearly the security regarding the Cyprus Air Force is now very intense. No Cypriot newspapers have been allowed to print anything regarding the helicopters to date, except for what is announced by the Government.

I’m afraid I have no pics to show u, but if anyone can find the same camouflage on pics of other russian Hips / Hinds, I would be grateful.
