I the new edition of AFM, their is a very small article about NASA developing a wing warping Hornet. The Active Aeroelastic Wing or AAW, its is to be used to study controlling the aircraft by warping the wing.
Nasa calls it ‘Aerodynamically-induced wing twist’!
what I ask the forum is:
What will this mean for future fighter performance?
How could this possibly work?
What about larger aircraft could this work for them?
In my opinion, if this could work, it would revolutionise the aircraft industry.
all opinions welcome.
thanks
