Mig-29 K or Rafale for the Groshkov.

Hi Guys,
I am in my home town for a couple of days. I picked up a local newspaper and in it a defence secretary speaking in Bombay was quoted as saying that the Rafale and the MIG-29K were both being evaluted for the Groshkov.Can anyone confirm or deny this?Dont think it is very likely considering that the Russian “Gift” of the Groshkov is on condition of India fitting it out wit MIG29’s. Maybe this is just Indias way of some tough negotiating.
