I get the impression that there is still fighting going on in Afghanistan involving US (and other) ground troops yet there is very little information. Also, I heard, on the radio, this morning that Royal Marines would partake in offensive operations within the next few days (apparently on their own and not coordinating with the Yanks).
This all seems to be going on with very little news coverage – why? I want to know how the operations are going. The Afghans are posing a far greater threat than previously thought. Rockets have been fired at the Brits in Kabul, 600 people were arrested for plotting to overthrow the interim govt, operation anaconda etc. What information do you guys have?
