So why did Australia choose the Tiger?

I haven’t really followed this competition

but from what I heard.. they said the Mangusta is too small? (based on paper specs it seems faster and agile, but i guess it’s can’t carry as much or has weak armor?)

what made them choose the Tiger over the Rooivalk?

as for the American competitors..i haerd it was something about the American dollar vs the Australian dollar that affected it..any infos..clarifications and such would greatly be appreciated!
