Russia selects Yak-130!!

Yakovlev has won the Russian Federation Air Force’s tender for a new-generation combat trainer, the company’s Yak-130 programme manager Konstantin Popovich has told Jane’s Defence Weekly.

1) What will happen to the Mig-A/T??

2) How many Yak-130 will Russia purchase??

3) Who are likely export customers for the Yak-130??

4) Was the Yak-130 the best choice??

5) How did the Yak-130 differ from the Mig-A/T??
