Aquired as a partial replacement to both the CT-4B’s and MB-328H’s the PC-9 now severs 2 squadrons (CFS and 77Sqdn), as well as 2 sepcialist units (Rouletts display team and FACDU) and a couple detached to ARDU in Adelaide!
There are four scheemes on this a/c:
Light grey, standard squadron service!
Dark grey, FAC colours
Red and White, Rouletts colours
Orange and White, old colours when they firast entered service, now nly used by the ARDU unit!
A23-1 was painted in the ACM’s (Air Chief Marshall’s) colours but this A/c has now been painted into the standard squadron light grey!
Australia’s first female combat pilot (Tracey, can’t remember her last name, any help), was the first to complete training on the new PC-9’s and is now an FAC instructor at the new FACDU center!
