14 March 2002.RMAF/RMN annual joint exercise to test man and machine against three dimensional maritime warfare scenarios.Duration:21 days.Location:Straits of Malacca/South China Sea.23 naval vessels+14 aircraft.Types of aircraft 4 FA 18D,6 HAWK 208/108,1 PC130H,1 BEECHCRAFT B200T and 2 SIKORSKY S61A4.Live and training missiles (Harpoon,Exocet MM40,Otomat Mk2,VL Seawolf,Aspide)are expected to be fired during this exercise.PASKAL(Navy Seal)to simulate open sea hostage rescue/assault using modern specops gadgets eg:mini subs Falcon (F16) fighter simulator will be use against the RMN.Will keep you guys up to date.
