Moral in Harrier units?

I read the other day that the Sea harrier is to be retired between 2004-6! With RAF Gr7’s to be upgraded to Gr9. All RN pilots are to convert to Gr9, with both RN and RAF pilots opperating them. I dont like this Idea one bit, as (i believe) the moral of the pilots,especially navy, will drop by quite a lot. Also how does the MoD expect the RAF harriers to fufil both roles of sea harrier and normal harrier? And is this just a political excuse to cut the number of JSF the UK will need to buy? Lots of questions but cut backs are something I am getting seriously worried about.
