Is the Golden Eagle already obsolete?

I was reading Air International..in a way they do bring up a good point.. the Golden Eagle is pretty much made with off the shelf equipment and is mostly representative of F-16 technology.. in the trainer market the latest Hawks are just as good avionics wise..while the MAKO will represent more technological advancements and might be even cheaper, while the M-346 and Yak-130 have air frame advancements that allow it to have a higher AoA, (we are talking about markets here) as the Golden Eagle is vital for the Korean industry.
