I found this on an unreadable Chinese site. Eagle Lovers will not like it. Apparently it involves an F-15E crash at Lakenheath sometime in late 2000.

Looks like a hydraulic leak from one of the actuators of the rudder? Most 727’s had problems with the hydraulic fluid leaking even small leaks which stripped the paint in no time.
