did India make the right choice with the Su-30MKI?

So do you think they made the right decision to purchase the MKI? or do you think that for a little bit more they should’ve went for a two seat Rafale, particularly the new MK2 one with the CFTs? The Rafale should provide enough range for missions within Pakistan, as good a load, better avionics, and most importantly, production and delivery most likely would’ve started by now should they choose it. Any thoughts? Keep in mind the Indians have other French aircraft such as the Mirage 2000 and the Jag (ok Anglo French).
