Thanks A Lot

Thanks a lot for the updates guys. Ten points for all those who say Malaysia! Anyhow, on the Russian connection…although they are not saying it publicly, the AF is not so keen with the Russian kits. Yeah, they like the 29s (it can beat the Hornets, anyday, anytime in ACM) but the supports sucks. Even setting up a JV company did not help matters. The Su-30MKM did a lot to come to Malaysia last year (Lima 01) but nobody was allowed to get near it apart from the Russians of course. This certainly offended a lot of guys. I was told that the aircraft which came was a full spec Indian, MKI. But since I did not get to look into the cockpit, I cannot be sure. I have a close-up pix of it but the forum system cannot take a pix more of 75kb, I cannot post it here.
So on the RMAF requirements, they want a multi-role aircraft, so as of now the Super Bug is the leading contender. It all depends whether Boeing is determined enough to get the contract, that they would do wonders with the American government to get the approvals, especially on the source codes, even if they did not want to sell the most modern stuff, the least they can do is allow us to get other stuff, European ones I mean to the plane.
The numbers? My guess is good as yours, not more than 20.
