I have just read the entire “Gallant Knights” article and I have a few comments.
First how come almost all MiG-29 that are take-off have a radar malfunctioning, are they engineers that bad and what about that famous IRTS, that malfunction to? Surely they can obtain some spare parts from black market (where is their ingenuity then).Second the author of the article says “Could any honest fighter pilot seeing aggression against his country sit back idly and watch the events unfold with a clear conscience? These pilots were honourable, courageus men prepared to sacrifice their lives to defend their country, regardless of the odds.” and I ask what about pilots of MiG-21 are they not courageus? I think this article is a Mig-29 pilot point of view and their justification for their loss.
