Favorite F-14 Squadron?

Does anyone have a favorite F-14 Tomcat Squadron? What do you think about the Tomcat performance over in Afganistan? They seem to be doing many on the long range strike missions! Yet both of the squadrons from the U.S.S. Enterprise (VF-14 & VF-41)will be replaced (a.k.a. F-18E/F)upon return to the States. Does anyone have an opinion on the F-18F vs F-14D. (not counting age)
