RAF heavy bombers

I know that the RAF’s heavy bomber capability retired with the Vulcans, but would/could the RAF make use of a heavy bomber force today or are Tornadoes sufficient for all mission requirements? The USAF seems to be giving it’s B-1/B-2/B-52 force a workout. Would have been interesting to see Vulcans over Afghanistan.
