Antonov An-124 and the RAF

Despite having the extra capability of the Globemaster – the Antonov
An-124 is being used to keep the hours down on the leased Globemaster’s. Is it time the RAF really got this sorted and subtancially increased the size of the Globemaster fleet whilst
replacing VC-10’s in the trooping role which are clearly past their best
