Just as the Boeing 707 electrified the world of air travel when it burst upon the scene in the 1950’s, its military derivatives have long been the life blood of the United States military. Serving in every conceivable role that it is possible for a jet tranport design to serve in, Boeing’s aviation legend has done it all. I am putting up this thread for two reasons. The first is two just discuss the C-135 and C-137 and how they have been so vital to the U.S. military. I want opinions and interesting facts. There are loads of interesting things on this design, I just know it. Secondly, I am wondering if anyone has a current listing of all the C-135/C-137/B707 variants that serve in the U.S. armed forces as of now. Happy posting, and Happy Halloween.
