Possibilities??????

My apologies to you guys if this question has been answered already, or if it is a bit too extreme, but what is the likelihood of nuclear weapons being used against a middle eastern state in light of the recent atrocities? (assuming it is they who are responsible of course) I ask this for two reasons:

1) If the USA has the support of Russia and China, does this give it carte-blanche to use ANY means neccesary?

2) If it is Bin Laden and his Taliban protectors, surely it is naive to expect to beat these madman by any conventional means, and would the use of Nuclear weapons also serve as a warning to other rogue states/organisations who may consider doing similiar in future? I mean if they got hold of a Nuclear weapon, I don’t think that they would think twice about using it, do you?

Of course, I don’t endorse the use of these weapons, I just want to know the likelihood of them being used in a potential (but possibly very real) conflict……
