replacement for aging tutors of CAF Snowbirds

With the recent accident that involved the tutors of the CAF Snowbirds. Even thought it hasn’t been concluded that the accident wasn’t a result of the 40 year old age of the tutors of our beloved snowbirds, it is first thing people are looking at. Maybe this could be the final step in upgrading the team’s aircraft. The mentioned on the news about how the US use modern aircraft in their aerobatic teams (thunberbirds and Blue angels). If they decide to replace the aircraft (which they probably won’t). Here is two ideas that I thought up but are somewhat obvious:

1.
Why not take a couple of CF-18s out of storage and let the team use them like the blue angels do with F/A-18c’s.

2.
Or with the NATO pilot training facilities for and the purchase of new trainers a new version of the Bae Hawk. Why not take some of these hawks for to be used for the snowbirds.

I now it would be a big adjustment by have the seats in tandem instead of side by side. But a new aircraft is desperately needed. and hopefully our boys will finally get new equipment.
