This small airliner has recently sparked my interest as I saw them for the first time when I went to the Florida Keys in April and then again when I went to Europe (got back a few days ago- England and France). I really like the way it looks (especially in Northwest and British Airways colors). It seems to be a great aircraft because over 50 different airlines have them. I prefer the RJ100 because I like the longer fuselage, but the RJ85 is neat too. The RJ70 looks kinda stumpy but it is still cool. I can’t really say what aspect of the plane I like, I just like it. One of the things I wonder about are all of its competitors. Surely the commuter/short-haul airliner market is very large. I guess the Fokker 100 would be one. Comments on the RJ are welcome, I just wanna know what others think about it. By the way, I posted this on this board because I am not getting any replies on the Airliner World forum. The RAF uses a few so there is your military application for the plane. Now the thread is legit.
