Great new aviation books

SU-27 Flanker Story by Andrei Fomin
A must buy book for the Flanker lover. The best book on the SU-27 thus far. Plenty of technical drawings, never before published photos and an in depth analysis of its variants.
Published by Airfleet.

Brassey’s Military Rotorcraft (2nd ed.)
A good technical book. A few B & W photos and compares several different attack helicopters including the Ka-50. The only drawback is the price.

MiG-29 by Yefim Gordon
SU-27 by Yefim Gordon
These books aren’t that new (pub. in 1999) but are worth every penny. MiG-29 book is by far the best book on this type, covering all variants and has photos of all air arms using them.
SU-27 book is also excellent, and well written and is in the same format as the MiG-29 book. Published by Airlife books.

Russian Air Power Directory
A new book called the Russian Air Power Directory is coming out this summer from AIRtime publishing, it has the same format of the United States Air Power Directory published last year. It will include all of Russia’s air arms and an in depth analyis of OrBat and deployment.

When you are attacked by eight bogeys, the only question to ask is “Which one do I attack first?”
