Su-17/20/22….Help!!

Ok guys can you help me out please!
I am confused around the designation of the Su-17/20/22 Fitter. So here we go….

1) Su-17 – (All varients) Frontal Avation Units,Russia. These were equiped with the lastest varients.

2) Su-20 – Equipt to Warsaw pact countries (Poland, Hungaria etc. Same varients same standard not “down – graded”, diferent desigantion just statt of export varient to “friendly” countries.

3) Su – 22 – Export only, downgraded systems to countries such as Libya etc.

Is this correct or do have the wrong end of the stick as it were!!

Also now that they have been more or less withdrawn from service, and the MiG-27 is aging + the MiG-29M has been cancelled anybody know what is going to replace these ground attack aircraft??

I would be greatful of any info regarding the points raised on the Su-17/20/22 Fitter.
