Biggest airforce compared to the size of the country

Hi guys, another “interresting” question to keep this forum going

The biggest airforces are well-known : the PLAAF, followed by the USAF and so on …
But those are extremely big countries so the need of more a/c is bigger. But which of the airforces has the biggest amount of a/c according to the size.

For exemple: Belgium, which is only 33000 square km, but has about 100 F-16’s in service to protect it. That’s more than Norway which is much bigger. I asume that’s also more than the USAF in %.

Same with our navy : everybody is laughing with belgian navy but we have 4 fregats, 4 anti-mine boats for only 42 km’s of coast. Can any other nation say that?

I think the biggest airforce/size is the IDF/AF followed by nations like Belgium and the Netherlands, which are very good equipped with enough F-16’s.
