I don’t want to have this sound like KeyMag bashing, but lately I have reached a consumption level with some of the weak articles that have been published in AFM and AIR International.
I love these two magazines and consider them “the word” on a lot of topics.
Lately it has bothered me a bit of some of the articles that have been published.
Examples:
“More Sting in the Tail” ( AI ) April 2001. This might as well have been an adverisement for Boeing. ( and no I am not one of those F-14 lovers )
“Bandits over Baghdad” (AFM) April 2001. Yet another article on F117s in the Gulf War. This was a good article. I like the USAF and consider myself to have a lot of insider knowledge of how it works, just that most of this info has been covered already. If I see another USAF story I am going to puke.
Stuff I like. The Sri Lanka Fighter Bomber Story. If it wasn’t for this article I wouldn’t have a clue. It was very informative.
KeyMag, I love you guys, just show me something I or a bunch of your readers don’t know. That is what you do best.
Some of you others like Ink have brought up similar examples. Comments anyone?
