The RAF’s FSTA (tanker contract) debate is hotting up, and the choice of platform has narrowed down to the Boeing 767 and the Airbus A330. From what I can gather the politicians favour the Airbus plastic because its all Euro-shiny, whereas the end-users want the Boeing metal because its wings don’t bounce around so much when tanking and it can fit into a lot more airfields/hangars.
So which should it be?
