Scrapping VC10's

This months Flypast states that the last VC10 K2 tanker fight out of Brize Norton would be March 22 by ZA142 and that scapping of the fleet is taking place at St Athen ????.
I live quite close to BZN and i have seen K2’s flying in their normal cicuit up to 4.30 this afternoon, so obvoiusly the Flyapst info is wrong or at least the date is. Is the scapping story true, i was at BZN not too long ago and was told by the station commander that the ’10’ was staying in service until about 2010, or at least until a replacement aircraft was found and in service as the Tristars could not handle all of the refueling work alone.
Any ideas anyone?
